Biarritz ~ Golfing Holidays
Biarritz is a large town with several quartiers, it is one of the principal resorts on the Cote Basque and probably the most famous part of the Pays Basque. Biarritz came to fame in the mid 19th century when Napoleon`s wife fell in love with area and built a palace on the beach which is now the Hotel du Palais. Biarritz itself has a great mix of culture with very strong basque influences, its architecture is based on 19th century stone work and offers many beautiful buildings not to forget its spa and natural springs.
This area is well worth a short break or why not stay longer to enjoy the food and wine – let your senses appreciate the better things in life.
